Westcombe Diary

cheese refrigeration production

Westcombe Diary

Westcombe Diary in Somerset was quite an usual contract as the dairy was built into a side of hill! This unique project involved considerations related to cheese  production.

Capital designed and installed a cooling system using the fresh water from the hills. They used this to create a gravity cooling system. This was essential for cheese  production on site.

The system was planned to achieve the correct temperatures and humidity, key aspects in cheese refrigeration production for optimal results.

The cooling pipes were installed on the ceiling. They used especially designed refrigeration and water pump systems, which are critical for cheese refrigeration production. In addition, we are pleased

to say that the facility is performing very well.

Capital also installed a close control monitoring  temperature system with access for remote viewing so a constant check can be made

on the system and to receive notifications if the system is not functioning correctly.

As a result, Westcombe Diary can now monitor every aspect of cheese refrigeration production efficiently. Westcombe Diary also installed an automated turning system that continually turns the cheese for the correct maturing.
