A Fresh Showcase: Sky Park Farm Unveils Our New Criocabin Enixe Display
At Sky Park Farm, we’ve always believed that how we present our produce and meats matters just as much as what we produce. Today, we’re proud to announce a transformative upgrade: we’ve installed a Criocabin Enixe refrigerated display system in our farm shop — and it’s already changing the way our customers shop, see, and savour.
Why We Chose the Criocabin Enixe
The Criocabin Enixe isn’t just a display counter — it’s an investment in quality, presentation, and consistency. Here’s what stood out in our selection process:
-
Superior climate control: The Enixe ensures stable temperature and humidity levels across the entire display area, which helps our meat stay fresher, reduces surface drying, and limits weight loss.
-
Contemporary design, flexible finishes: Its clean lines, elegant glass, and customizable front panels help the display blend with our farm shop aesthetic.
-
Energy efficiency & eco credentials: The Enixe is designed with efficiency in mind (e.g. options for R290 refrigerant) .
-
Optimised visibility: Flat surfaces, brilliant LED lighting, and minimal visual clutter help the colours and textures of our cuts stand out .
-
Ease of maintenance: Accessible service points, hygienic design, and modular components make it simpler for our staff to clean, maintain, and work around.
All of that made it a perfect fit for what we aim to deliver: high standards, clear presentation, and the kind of experience our customers notice.
Behind the Scenes: Installing the Enixe at Sky Park Farm
Putting in a premium display counter like this involves careful planning, coordination, and collaboration. Here’s how our journey unfolded:
1. Design & layout planning
We began by working with refrigeration consultants, shopfitting specialists, and layout designers to map out the optimum location. We considered customer flow, lighting, servicing access, and adjacency to other display units.
2. Infrastructure prep
Before the unit arrived, we had to ensure that all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC provisions were in place. That meant precise routing of wiring, drainage, cooling lines, and ensuring structural support underfoot.
3. Delivery & assembly
The Criocabin Enixe arrived in several modular sections. With the help of our fitting team, we assembled the base, refrigeration components, glass panels, LED lighting, and finishing touches.
4. Calibration & testing
Next came the fine-tuning. We set target temperature and humidity parameters, ran diagnostic cycles, and closely monitored the display to ensure even cooling, no hot or cold spots, and consistent performance.
5. Staff training & onboarding
Our shop staff, butchers, and service team were trained in loading protocols, cleaning, minor troubleshooting, and daily checks. The easier it is in daily use, the better for long-term consistency.
